The Mutnovsky volcano (2323 m) is rightly considered one of the most beautiful and interesting of Kamchatka volcanoes. It has a complicated and unusual structure. From its top a glacier goes down and powerful steam flows burst out from its fissures on the surface. The volcano allures with its intensive and diverse volcanic activity. Here You will see hissing fumaroles surrounded by bright yellow collars of sulfur crystals, boiling up mud caldrons filled with black water and impressive craters. At the foot of the volcano begins a beautiful canyon "Opasny" into which a 80-meter waterfall falls down.

The Gorely volcano (1829 m) is located in a spacious and picturesque caldera. It is unique with the collection of various craters on the top part. The edges of some of the craters cross each other, creating quite an odd and unique pattern. The main craters surrounded by the steep walls 150-200 m. high have a well-like structure and are filled with acid lakes.

The Avachinsky volcano (2740 m) is the most accessible for ascent as it is located within the sight of the city and its ascent is very popular among tourists. It attracts not only with its marvelous views which can be contemplated from its cupola but also with the beauty of the crater itself. In a fine weather from the peak You will be able to see the Кoryaksky volcano (3456 m) and the Pacific ocean, the Nalychevo valley and the Avacha bay. The cone of the Avachinsky volcano is made of red scoria. The crater is filled with hardened black-grey lava and with a lot of yellow fumaroles along its edges.
