This tour is intended for people who have mountaineering experience. Kamen volcano (4 575 m) is the most difficult for ascent summit of Kamchatka. The ascent of it is performed on the northern slope from the Volcanologists mountain pass and is referred to the rocky-glacier routes with 4А Level of difficulty of difficulty. Kamen is situated in the very center of the Klyuchevskaya group and it is the second in height volcano on the peninsula. It is considered to extinct and is one of the most ancient volcanoes of Kamchatka.
Day 1: Paratunka
Meeting at the airport of Elizovo. Transfer and accommodation at the recreation base of Paratunka.
Day 2: Paratunka - Kozyrevsk Settlement
Automobile transfer (520 km) to Kozyrevsk lasts about 8 hours. Accomodation - the hotel of the settlement.
Day 3: Kozyrevsk - Volcanologists' pass
Helicopter transfer to the Volcanologists’ pass that is situated between the volcanoes Klyuchevskaya Sopka and Kamen («Stone») at a height of 3300 m. Tent camp setting (Camp 1).
Day 4: Volcanologists' pass
Rest day. May be used as a reserved day in case of bad weather.
Day 5: Volcanologists' pass - Kamen volcano
Climbing (8-10 hours) Kamen volcano. The descent (4-6 hours) to Camp 1.
Day 6: Volcanologists' pass
Rest day. May be used as a reserved day in case of bad weather.
Day 7: Volcanologists' pass - Kozyrevsk Settlement
Helicopter transfer to Kozyrevsk. Accomodation - the hotel of the settlement.
Day 8: Kozyrevsk- Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
Automobile transfer (8 hours) to the city Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Day 9: Transfer to the airport
3 800 EUR – for one person for group of 4 people
2 600 EUR – for one person for group of 6 people
2 000 EUR – for one person for group of 8 people
The tour includes the following expenses:
- accommodation at the recreation base of Paratunka, in the hotel of the settlement Kozyrevsk;
- automobile transfer to Kozyrevsk and back;
- helicopter transfer to Volcanologists' pass;
- meal, except for days of staying on the recreation base Paratunka;
- medical insurance for an accident;
- accompanying and common tourist outfit service;
- transfer from the airport and to the airport.
Additional costs relating to transportation, food and accommodation arising from the unforeseen consequence are not included in the cost.
The participants are required to have mountaineering qualification for ascent of volcano Kamen.
All common outfit and food products are equally distributed among all participants of the tour including officers of the firm. Weight of common load per person does not exceed 10 kilograms per person. All participants of the tour take part in cooking and tent setting. The basis of meal is composed of special sublimate products.

The company doesn’t give financial indemnity in the case if is impossible to carry out volcano ascent in bad weather or if the participants are not prepared physically for the tour.
