The route on the territory of the natural park Nalychevo, which was included into the list of UNESCO World-wide heritage in 1996. The park’s pearl is the Nalychevo valley, famous for its magnificent landscapes and curative springs. On the territory of the valley there are 10 volcanoes, 4 of which are active: (Кoryaksky (3456 m), Avachinsky (2740 m), Dzendzur (2285 m) and Zhupanovsky (2598 m)). About 200 thermal and mineral springs are concentrated here, the water is unique by the mixture and medical properties. The most famous springs of the Nalychevo valley are the Nalychevskie Kluchi, Goryacherechenskye, Talovskie and Kraevedcheskie hot springs and also the Aagskye and Koryakskie narzans the water of which has the similar taste and mixture as the famous Caucasian narzans (mineral water) have.

The Avachinsky volcano has not only staggering views which can be observed from its dome, but also a very spectacular crater. Its young regular-shaped cone is surrounded by a semi annular swell resulting from an explosion and hulling of the ancient volcano. The volcano’s crater is very picturesque. It is filled with hardened lava and its edges are of odd bright and wild colours.
