The route of this tour runs along the most famous volcanoes of Kamchatka: the highest active volcano of Eurasia – Klyuchevskaya Sopka (4750 m), the second in height volcano on the peninsula – Kamen (4575 m), one of the most active volcanoes on the continent – Bezymyanny (2882 m) and other active volcanoes Plosky Tolbachik (3085 m) and Avachinsky (2741 m).

Within this tour, you have an opportunity to see the unique natural objects of the Klyuchevskoy Nature Park: Dead Forest, bright red volcanic cones and lava fields, resulting from grandiose Eruptions of 1975-76 and 2012-13, Barany’ Rocks, Studyenaya River Canyon and Edelweiss Meadow.

You also acquaint with the peculiarities of way of life, customs and culture of indigenous population of Kamchatka in visiting of national Even settlement Esso.

Day 1: Paratunka / Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

Meeting at the airport of Elizovo. Transfer (about 40 min) and accommodation at the recreation base of Paratunka or hotel of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Overnight staying – hotel. Meal: -/-/-

Day 2: Paratunka / Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – Kozyrevsk Settlement

Transfer (8-10 hrs) by a cross-country automobile to Kozyrevsk. Accommodation at the guesthouse of the settlement. Overnight staying – huts. B/L/D

Day 3: Kozyrevsk – North Break – Dead forest

Transfer (about 5 hrs) to the southern part of the foot of the Tolbachik Volcano. Viewing the cones of the North Break and Dead Forest, destroyed by burning hot ashes outburst resulting from the powerful Eruption of 1975-76. Accommodation at the huts of our base in Dead Forest.

Day 4: Plosky Tolbachik volcano

Transfer about 40 min. to the Sopka Kleshnya. The ascent to the crater of Plosky Tolbachik takes about 6 hrs. The descent to Sopka Kleshnya – 4-5 hrs. Along the way viewing the lava flows of Eruption of 2012-13. Returning to the base in Dead Forest. Overnight staying – huts. B/L/D

*Depending on the group desires, this day may be used only for hiking (4-5 hrs) of the lava flows, new cones and caves formed in the result of the grandiose Eruption of 2012-13

Day 5: Dead forest – Kozyrevsk

Transfer and accommodation at the guesthouse of the settlement. Overnight staying – huts. B/L/D

Day 6: Kozyrevsk – Sopka Kopyto

Transfer (about 3 hrs) to the Sopka Kopyto which is located in the northern part of the foot of the Tolbachik Volcano. Walking about 4 km in the direction of the rivulet Barany. Tent camp setting (Camp 1). Viewing the vicinity. When the weather is good, a magnificent panorama with the view of volcanoes Klyuchevskaya Sopka, Kamen, Bezymyanny, Ushkovsky, Ovalnaya Zimina and Tolbachik.

Day 7: STUDYENAYA RIVER CANYON. EDELWEISS MEADOW. Barany’ Rocks

Radial walk (one-way 6-8 km) to the Studyenaya river canyon, Edelweiss Meadow and Barany’ Rocks that is composed of separate basaltic posts. Returning to Camp 1. Overnight staying – tents. B/L/D

DAY 8: Sopka Kopyto – ESSO settlement

Transfer (about 5 hrs) to the national Kamchatka settlement Esso – the national settlement in the middle of Kamchatka is the best place to get acquainted with the life of Kamchatka native residents. Accommodation at the guesthouse of the settlement. Rest in the pool with thermal water.

DAY 9: ESSO

Observing excursion* in Esso, visiting of national village and ethnic museum.
Overnight staying – huts. B/L/D

*Depending on the group desires, this day may be used for rafting (5-6 hrs) on the Bystraya-Esso river and fishing.

DAY 10: ESSO – Nachiki

Transfer (8-9 hrs) and accommodation at the hotel Nachiki. Rest in the pool with thermal water. Overnight staying – hotel. B/L/D

Day 11: Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – AVACHINSKY VOLCANO

Transfer (about 1,5 hrs) and sightseeing tour around Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, souvenir shop and fish market. In the evening transfer (about 2 hrs) by a cross-country automobile to the area of the volcanic plateau between the volcanoes Avachinsky and Кoryaksky (3456 m). Accommodation at the huts of the Base Three Volcanoes. Overnight staying – huts. B/-/D

DAY 12: AVACHINSKY VOLCANO – Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

The ascent* to Avachinsky Volcano takes 5-6 hrs. Viewing the crater – 1 hr. The descent – 3-4 hrs. In the evening transfer (about 2 hrs) and accommodation at the hotel of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

*Depending on the group desires, this day may be used for hiking (3-4 hrs) to the Verblyud Mountain

Day 13: Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

Day of rest. On this day you can take one of the following excursions: to the Kuril Lake, Valley of Geysers, Gorely Volcano or boat trip to Russkaya Bay. Overnight staying – hotel. B/-/-

Day 14: Transfer to the airport

3 500 EUR – for one person for group of 6 people

The tour includes the following expenses:

The tour price does not include helicopter excursions to the Valley of Geysers, Kuril lake, Gorely Volcano, boat trip to Russkaya Bay and rafting on the Bystraya-Esso river.

The participants of this tour are to be ready for long automobile transfers along forestry and gravel road of bad quality.

During the walking from the Sopka Kopyto to the Camp 1 (day 6) the participants of the tour carry not only personal belongings but also food products and tents. The weight of common load does not exceed 4 kilograms per person.
