GORYACHERECHENSKIYE HOT SPRINGS

Three groups of the hot springs are located along the left bank of the Goryachaya (Hot) river, at the Bear tundra steep.

The river is cold, it becomes a little warmer only after hot brooks inflow. The upper group has a low discharge of 0,9 l/sec. The middle group - 11 l/sec, the lower group - 14 l/sec. The temperature of the springs is inconstant and changes several times a season depending on the factors. According to the generally accepted classification, the springs belong to the very rare type. The closest analogues are the waters of the De Burbul springs (France) and the Steamboat Springs (the USA).

Only there one can see the greatest accumulation of the thermophilic algae in Kamchatka.

The tourists often bath in the springs. Nowadays the Goryacherechenskiye hot springs are equipped by cloakrooms and steps.
